Kanoo wins Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme Award

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 16, 2006: Kanoo Power & Industrial Projects (Kanoo PIP), a part of the leading diversified business conglomerate, The Kanoo Group, has won the coveted Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme Award in the trade category for 2005. Mishal Kanoo, Deputy Chairman of The Kanoo Group, along with Freddy Sherman, Executive General Manager of Kanoo Commercial Group and U.A. Chengappa, Commercial Manager of Kanoo PIP received the award from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Industry (UAE) at a ceremony held in Dubai on Sunday. With this award, The Kanoo Group becomes the only group to receive business excellence awards for six consecutive years since 2000.

The Dubai Quality Award, which was established in 1994 by the Department of Economic Development in Dubai under the patronage of H.H.
