The Territorial Army based at Aylsham Road, Norwich had a major incident on Thursday, 16 March 2006 where a terrorist was attached with high explosive C4 and a COLT M14 he threaten to blow up himself and four children from the Taverham High School, five soldiers were put on red alert and automatically received a emergency call from their officer among these were Mr. Christopher Michael Thompson who attended his first REAL life accident using a Marui 1:1 VSR-10 G Spec BB Sniper Rifle along with two smoke grenades. While the other four soldiers kept the terrorist calm and busy, Mr CM Thompson had been requested to setup a sniper rifle and immediately had the right to “Shot to Kill” Unfortunately the four soldiers were unable to keep the terrorist calm and he began to fire his weapon therefore Mr, CM Thompson had to fire the rifle and killed him among thousands of people around City Centre he believed to be one of Norfolk’s best sniper gunners based at Acle UK and has been awarded a gold star model for successfully saving the life’s of four children and thousands of individuals.
Police said; Christopher was put into a difficult situation and done everything he could to stop himself from using the rifle however when the terrorist started threaten the young children he had to do something therefore he shot the terrorist, solider Christopher Thompson will NOT face any court nor government charges, Infact he’s had a application to serve in Iraq and Middle East however it’s unknown of the discussion yet.
We hope his family and friends will understand he done everything he could to avoid killing anybody and we should be extremely proud of him, saving the lives of thousands and keeping our country free and safe of the world of terrorism.
