TORONTO, ONTARIO – CAST YOUR ANCHOR announces it attended the 22nd annual Canadian Home Workshop Show on March 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Cast Your Anchor, Canada’s only nautical hobby store specializing in ship models, was pleased to have the opportunity to present itself to the attendees of the show. The Canadian Home Workshop Show is a unique combination of vendor presentations, hands on workshops for all ages and a number of seminars with well known key note speakers. Each of the workshops were manned by volunteers that gave individual instructions to the participants. The kids made stools, women made tea candle holders and the power tool workshop had people making magazine holders. Cast Your Anchor is intending to attend this show next year and may hold a workshop for ship model building. In addition to ship models, Cast Your Anchor will also bring it’s line of pirate paraphernalia to the next show. This will grab the attention of all the attendees. Jennifer Hodgson, President of Cast Your Anchor said “It was very nice to see opportunities for hands on participation. Hopefully, some people will take this experience to the next step ”.
Cast Your Anchor attends the Toronto Hobby Show in November and a number of other local area shows throughout southern Ontario. We feel that trad3e shows are an important resource to be able to introduce ourselves to groups of people that are not usually exposed to our hobby. There is a lot of cross over between various hobbies.
