The Perfectstroke Putting Aid is a golf training aid that helps to practice perfect alignment,stroke path and clubface control during the stroke. It was developed by an Australian golf professional to help some of his students who had problems with the basics such as alignment of the face and concepts during the stroke. Mark Officer was a former touring professional who began teaching on a full time basis in 1997. Now based at Lakelands Golf Club on Queensland's Gold Coast he say's the Perfectstroke has proved to be a valuable teaching and training aid to all levels of golfers. "The Perfectstroke Putting Aid has been embraced by all the professionals that have seen and used it and it helps equally players of lesser ability". Although to the laymen this putting aid with it's straight lines and supports may look like it provides for a straight back and through stroke it actually makes the putterhead swing slightly inside/inside. This also means that the face will open and close slightly in relation to the targetline.
Representatives of MediaCorp Worldwide first saw the Perfectstroke Putting Aid at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January 2005 and began negotiations to market the device through direct response television.

Australian golf copmany Perfectroke and MediaCorp Worldwide marketing have recently announced an agreement to promote the Perfectroke Putting Aid.
