March 22, 2006 (Press Release) --
Eric Schweitzer, a professional magician, will perform during The Black Mountain Center Foundations 3rd Annual Silent Auction on Friday April 7th. The event begins at 6:00 and will run until 9:00 p.m. at The Crest Center and Pavilion. This event is a fundraiser to support Black Mountain Center’s Alzheimer’s and Developmental Disabilities program. Tickets are a $20.00 donation. This includes hors d’oeuvres, live music and an evening of amazing magic. Many fabulous items will be on the bidding table: Gift Certificates to area restaurants, quality craft items from artisans from Western NC, Original art work and much more!
Eric presents his illusions in an intimate style known as close-up magic, in which the table-top becomes a small stage. “Magic is fascinating to begin with,” he says, “but when it’s that close to you, it’s even more amazing.”
