March 24, 2006 (Press Release) --
BALTIMORE, MD –March 23, 2006 – Art Litho Printing Solutions, a leading provider of commercial print solutions, announced today that it has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO-DC), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification, implemented by the Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO-DC), is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
Patricia Crowe, President/CFO comments, “I’m excited that we’ve successfully completed the certification process. Women-owned businesses now account for thirty-eight percent of all US business and are growing rapidly. We’re proud to be recognized by WBE as a company that’s leading this growth.”
Patricia Crowe purchased Art Litho Printing Solutions in December of 2004, making it one of the few woman-owned commercial printers in the Mid-Atlantic. Since the purchase, there has been significant investment in building an exceptional team of employees and upgrading Art Litho’s internal capabilities.
“We strive to build long-term partnerships,” says Crowe. “Our goal is to deliver results and be a value-added resource to our clients. Our WBE certification will afford us greater opportunity to develop those relationships.”
