March 27, 2006 (Press Release) --
Stimulus Respond, the e-zine for urban anthropologists, has released its tenth issue today, 27 March 2006.
The theme of the issue is "Family".
What is the meaning of 'Family'? How have ideas of 'Family' changed over time? Are notions of family culturally contructed? Do traditional family values still exist? What is the role of the family in the construction of identity? With the help of very special guests Temposhark and Popular Workshop, come join us in our stylish and glamorous deconstruction of Family. Who's your daddy?
Every two months, Stimulus brings together a collection of features and photographs which explore the foundations of a world that we grow up to take for granted. You do not want to be blinded with science and sorcery, therefore we aim to use these tools in conjunction with literature, photography and graphic design to make our points about the world as beautifully and eloquently as possible.
