San Diego-based Malfunction Films has chosen the winners of its "America's Skinniest People" contest. The winners will be given a variety of roles in the upcoming feature film "Duvantin."
The winners are:
Kyle Symons, Sioux City, Iowa
Janet Grady, Daytona Beach, Florida
Sam Bacon, Lemon Grove, California
Annette Downing, Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Horst Gronen, Leipzig, Germany
Gwen Jackson, San Ysidro, California
Graciela Rodriguez, Imperial Beach, California
Each will be given speaking parts in Duvantin, which is scheduled for a Fall 2007 release. According to Dave Barak, founder of Malfunction Films, "Response to our contest was impressive. We received a little more than 40 entries, which was a lot more than we expected."
Malfunction Films congratulates all who won, and thank all who particpated. Auditions for other parts, including other slender people, will be held in the near future.
