Charlotte, NC (March 29, 2006) – The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) recently elected Stephen Bailey of HB Financial Resources, Ltd. (www.hbfinancial.com) to serve as its new president. “I am pleased to be in this position with such a fine international organization.” Mr. Bailey says. “With the support of our members, we will continue to fulfill our mission in helping people do a better job of spending, saving, investing, insuring, and planning.” The president serves a four-year term.
The IARFC is a non-profit professional credential organization of proven financial professionals formed to foster public confidence in the financial planning profession, to help financial advisors exchange planning techniques, and to give deserved recognition to those practitioners who are truly committed to ethical standards and continuous professional education.
As founder and President of HB Financial Resources, Ltd., Mr. Bailey has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has been active in several professional associations, and has also earned the LUTCF and CEBA designations.
His professional practice includes hosting a radio show, as well as publishing many columns and articles. He is also the author of a book on retirement and investment strategies entitled “DollarSense: A Book for Matured Adults” and served as an LUTC instructor and is assisting IARFC in developing its new courses.
Steve is the past president of the Charlotte Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, which under his leadership achieved the largest local membership increase in the nation. Later as Vice President of the North Carolina Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Steve won the NAIFA award for the largest percentage of membership increase in the U.S. Designations: LUTCF, CEBA, CEP and RFC.
