BandMinusLabel.Com , new website geared towards a new generation of rockers opened its' virtual doors today to accept new bands for free promotion on their website.
Band Minus Label is a site specifically devoted to new, unsigned and independent label rock bands. They define rock as any type of music derived from the roots of rock. This includes several different genres of music all categorized as rock. They include, rock, metal, death metal, punk, ska, classic rock, southern rock, alternative, gothic, progressive and many more.
The site will include and "Bands" page, "Band Bio" page, "Forums", "Links", "Labels" "News", and a "Get Listed" page.
In the "Bands" page, bands have a basic profile of their band name, link to their website or MySpace page, and a link to one or two songs. The "Band Bios" page include a band biography including band contact information. On the "News" page, bands are able to contact the webmaster to submit information about upcoming shows. The "Forums" are a free for all place where people may join in on chat with other members of the forum and talk about all of the music featured on the site as well as a variety of other topics. On the "Labels" page there is a list of many major and independent record labels including contact information for bands to use to get in contact with to submit their demos for consideration.
