A Native Seed and Plant Experience with Howard Bright from Ion Exchange, Inc. will be held on May 16th and 17th at The Natural Gait in Harpers Ferry, IA.
Howard Bright is the owner of Ion Exchange, Inc. and will be your guide as he takes you into world of native wildflowers, grasses and local landscapes. He has spent many years of his life learning, teaching and sharing his special passion of the natural world.
This experience is packed with valuable information and lots of fun. You will learn the art of growing native plants in the greenhouse and choosing, harvesting, cleaning and planting native seeds in a real life setting. You will experience native plants first hand with a walk in the wild and there will be many opportunities for pictures. Plus you will learn historical facts of plant life and experience a campfire in the Old Indian Shelter. For the amateur native seed and plant enthusiast this is a jump start into the amazing world of nature.
