April 10, 2006 (Press Release) --
“Hey Girl on the Motorcycle!”
She’s in a huge hurry but takes the time to correct him: “It’s a Chopper, baby!”
Toronto designer Chopper Couture has in just the first few months of 2006 gained distributors for 14 European countries and this ladies fashion “fueled with a passion of mixing influences and experiences from the Californian motorcycle culture and haute couture” has since its conception in 1999 as the Arlen Ness Chopper Couture evolved into a sophisticated, edgy street’couture; achieving Swarovski licensing approval along the way and now arrived in Japan!
Known for its innovative and cutting edge approach to inspired street'couture, Chopper Couture is rocking the fashion world with new designs and techniques treating fashion as work in progress with continuous experimentation and new product development.
Sophisticated, edgy looks is the key driving force for the 2006 collection with a slightly tougher edge, meant as a distinctly intentional departure from the entire frilly, girly-girly "Bohemia-mania" taking place and at the same time, Chopper Couture gets slimmer, longer and leaner silhouettes with most designs carrying the “Crystallized with Swarovski” stamp of approval.
The 2006 collection represents a strong continuation of what Chopper Couture does best: street'couture for women who understand and appreciate style, comfort and quality; featuring uniquely sophisticated details in the designs combined with an up-beat, fun streetwear sensibility.
Designed and produced in Toronto the quality is uniquely Canadian and made with the best fabrics, innovative washes and an uncompromising attention to detail, Chopper Couture has managed to fit right into the high-end contemporary market!
Japan’s ViVi Fashion Magazine recently featured Hilary Duff singing high praises for Chopper Couture and true to Canadian fashion, Toronto’s own rock divas; Scarlet Sins are modeling Chopper Couture on their website: www.choppercouture.com
