Chandler AZ (March 8, 2006) - Psychedelic Mooj, a Chandler based band is very proud to announce the release of their debut self-titled CD, Psychedelic Mooj. This amazing fusion of blues, funk, rock, soul and jazz, is sure to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes. The debut CD from Psychedelic Mooj is a self-produced effort recorded at the Eastside Mansion Studios in Tempe, AZ. The music presents a wide variety of sounds from all styles; rock, blues, psychedelic, jazz, country and even a little waltz.
Psychedelic Mooj has been playing together since January 2005. In their first year, the band has recorded a full-length all original album and played numerous live shows. A milestone was reached when the band rocked on stage with Dee Snider at the Hard Rock Sauza Tequila Band Showdown in Phoenix, AZ.
The band members represent many years of experience and a variety of different influences that can be clearly heard on the album. When Psychedelic Mooj was formed, each member brought with them varied musical styles, backgrounds and careers. Through their perpetual drive to explore new musical roads the new album evolved and was currently released on March 27, 2006.
