April 19, 2006 (Press Release) --
Keene, NH April 21, 2006 -- Henry Martin, a writer and occasional poet releases a collection of original poetry.
The Silence Before Dawn ( 80 p., $11.95) is a collection of 54 original poems compiled within four categories: Relationships, Thoughts, Confessions and Surreal. This collection of free verse poetry offers an insightful window into the soul of the modern poet and human experiences of the 21st century.
Henry Martin is proud to release his poetic debut. The poems selected for this collection were written between 1995 and 2005, a decade spent between five countries and filled with intense personal experiences. Many of these are reflected in his writing.
The Silence Before Dawn is released in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world's fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books. Henry Martin chose the route of independent publishing because it allows him complete control over the book and its artistic direction.
“An art in any shape or form should create emotions. Whether positive or negative, calming or aggravating, pleasant or sad, that is left to the reader. As long as my work did not leave you indifferent, I have done my job.”, says Henry
