XPress Sponsors the third Royal Medical Services International Conference (RMS)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 23, 2006 -- Amman, Jordan (April 2006) - Stemming from its ongoing aims to play an integral role within the Jordanian Society, and its aim to work towards the support of the health care services provided in Jordan, XPress Telecommunications recently sponsored the 3rd Royal Medical Service International Conference (RMS) which took place between April 5th and April 8th 2006, at the Le Royal Hotel.

Through its participation in the RMS, XPress Telecommunications showcased the different services it provides for its subscribers in Jordan. XPress held live presentations and demonstrations that in turn shed light on those services that have proven to be beneficial for the medicine and health care sectors in particular. Its presence at the event incorporated live demonstrations of its Global Positioning System (XGPS), and its other PTT services.

"We believe in being proactive and in showing a notable presence for ourselves in the various large scale industrial and social events hosted in the Kingdom. Our participation in the RMS comes as a means for us to showcase our services' offerings to a wide viewing audience, and to introduce the masses to what XPress has to offer to the individual, the corporate and the health care sector as well, for we at XPress always aim to respond to the demands of our market," said Ashraf Samawi, XPress Chief Marketing Officer.

"Our services prove to be of great benefit to subscribers working in the health care sector as well as subscribers in general, for our XGPS service helps doctors locate ambulances in cases of emergencies and it also helps direct their drivers to the closest hospital to them, and with such a service both time and risks are reduced. On another level, our PTT services also make communications easier between doctors, ER units, and ambulances, and we always strive to create more practical means for communication between our subscribers," he added.

The conference this year hosted over 60 guest speakers visiting from different corners of the globe, and over 23 topics pertaining to medicine were discussed during the event. In addition, the event hosted 13 constructive workshops, and was visited by a large number of guests, and XPress's presence there was only a clear demonstration of how the advancement in technology could lead to more efficient practices in medicine.
