The Jordan Commercial Bank Launches New Visa Interest Free Credit Card

Amman, Jordan (April 2006)- In keeping with its aims and objectives to remain within the easy access and reach of all its clients, the Jordan Commercial Bank (JCBank) is now offering the new JCBank Visa interest -free credit card which is the first card of its type to be offered within the Jordanian financial and banking sector. This card is to allow all of its holders to use their VISA cards at all selling points without paying interest on their purchases and other transactions. Not only does this card come - free of interest, but it is also issued at a very competitive issuing fees and with very flexible payment conditions as well.
It is important to note that the bank also offers an array of other distinctive benefits to all holders of this particular credit card. Being the first financial institution in the Kingdom to introduce the concept of Travel insurance to its clients, once the card holder purchases his plain tickets by using JCBank cards the bank will pay up to US$ 100,000 to the holders should they encounter an accident while traveling, In addition to the AIG Assist program that offers medical and legal assistance while traveling. Moreover, all users of the new credit card can also benefit from the VISA SMS services offered by JCBank for the first time in the Kingdom, which is a service that ensures the users' financial security by allowing them to receive an SMS confirming everyone of their transactions or purchases made via the JCBank Visa credit card.
In light of this new development , JCBank's Assistant General Manager, for Retail Banking & Technology Dr. Mohamed S. Asadi, said "This new service targets individuals who use their credit card frequently and who do not like the hassle of dealing with interest payments and their calculations"
