Dataprobe Expands Operations and Moves Headquarters to Allendale, NJ
Manufacturer of technology solutions upgrades office facility for state-of-the-art communications and systems management
Allendale, NJ; April 25, 2006 – Dataprobe, a leading manufacturer of innovative technology solutions for networking, systems and site management, announced it has moved the company's headquarters to Allendale, NJ from its previous location in Paramus, NJ. Dataprobe's new offices comprise approximately 20,000 square feet in the Allendale Industrial Park at One Pearl Court.
The company has been located in Northern New Jersey since its inception in 1969. The second-generation, family-owned business employs over 30 local employees, many of whom have been with the company for more than a decade. The new location will accommodate Dataprobe's growing needs for a modern communications infrastructure and warehouse in addition to administrative offices, manufacturing and testing facility. Dataprobe will continue to develop, manufacture and sell its customized remote management and networking solutions from its new headquarters.
"As our business has grown over the past few years, our needs have changed," said David Weiss, president of Dataprobe. "Although our sales have nearly doubled, from $5.2 million in 2004 to more than $9 million in 2005, we have implemented a number of operational efficiencies that enabled us to achieve this growth with the same number of employees. However, in order to meet the needs of our US customers, and growing international customer base, we had to upgrade our facilities."
Dataprobe made capital investments at the Allendale headquarters for a state-of-the-art communications system and data storage and networking. The company also leveraged its own technology in building this infrastructure including solutions for remote power control, circuit protection, relay switching, console port switching and line sharing devices. These improvements will provide Dataprobe with fail-safe and redundant communications systems for uninterrupted service 24/7 and year-round as well as enable executives to access the company's resources and effectively manage and monitor systems from remote locations.
