The Federation of Galaxy Explorers launches a Space Career Day on April 27th at the Pier Five hotel in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. There is no cost for this event. The Federation of Galaxy Explorers, a 501 (c)3 non-profit educational organization, has assumed all costs for the hotel and light fare for all participants.
The Space Career Day is designed to expose students and educators to exciting opportunities in the aerospace industry. We will have at least 15 booths with representatives from NASA, Aerospace Companies, FAA, Navy Research Labs, Observatories, etc. These individuals will represent careers from astronauts – to engineers – to scientists – to policy analysts. Each representative will talk to students and educators about what type of work they do and what type of academic background one needs to work in the field. Students and educators should have a fun and exciting time while they learn the full range of exciting career opportunities available in the aerospace industry
Over 800 Baltimore area students and adults will attend this event. Sponsors of Space Career Day include Mr. Greg Murad, Analytical graphics Inc., and Futron Corporation.
