However slightly contrary to it’s business plan many of its users are coming from further a field. Over 25% of all its flight bookings come from non-European countries.
Speaking in Meath today, Karl Tyrrell, Managing Director of Travelpaths attributed the success of his site in countries like the US, Canada and Australia down to the vast inventory of flights available on his site, ”our massive selection of fares, and especially our one way short haul trips within Europe and Asia make us a very popular site for the intrepid traveller, looking for that special flight or link within their holiday.”
With over 420 airlines fares being searched, sourcing fares from traditional and low cost airlines worldwide, travelpaths.com inventory is being enjoyed by travellers from further a field each day. Many of the fares on the site are exclusive to travelpaths, and many of the one-way fares are not available through US giants like Expedia and Travelocity.
With less restrictions on who or where travel agents can sell to, and the ability to fulfil tickets by email [e-ticketing] travelpaths.com now intends to make it’s product more visible in the global market.
