April 30, 2006 (Press Release) --
London UK, May 2nd, 2006 - Mocogo, the mobile content platform provider, has announced that it will be launching a service for ChillArt, the leading supplier of fresh, unique video art DVDs. Mocogo will make 30 second clips from the DVDs available for mobile devices on a dedicated website, http://www.chillartmobile.tv from Tuesday 2nd May.
The launch co-insides with the opening of IceSpace, the world’s largest attraction made of ice and this summer’s coolest visitor attraction, next to Tower Bridge in London. The IceSpace will feature an outdoor ice rink, show cutting edge live performances including acrobats, light shows, contortionists and occasional surprise acoustic sets by some of the top names in the music world and exhibit ice art and sculpture created by leading contemporary artists. ChillArt will feature as a permanent video art installation in the IceSpace.
ChillArt marries stunning imagery and original chillout soundtracks, and now airs daily on American TV and plays nightly in Ibiza and in London’s premier members’ clubs. ChillArt is being used in homes as "video art" on flat screen plasma TV's, can be seen in Paris, Rome, Sydney and Buenos Aires in funky cocktail bars, chillout rooms of nightclubs and the designer hotels of Miami, Cape Town and Barcelona.
3GX founder and director Simon Weitzman says "Mocogo offer a simple, fast and effective route into the UK mobile product market for our clients and we are pleased to be working with them on this project." Alex Lewer, Director of Technology at Mocogo agrees - "The Mocogo platform is unique in the fact that content providers can launch innovative campaigns in under 5 minutes - without any specific technical knowledge of shortcodes or regulatory requirements. The launch of ChillArt Mobile demonstrates our ambition to allow anyone to join the mobile content bandwagon".
