The service, that will launch next month, allows sellers to upload a one minute video of their used car from either their PC, digital camera or mobile phone for an additional charge to the listing fee of £3.
Desperate Seller already provide one of the UK’s cheapest and most successful ways to sell a car online through their £29.99 flat fee listing which places the advertisement on 101 leading car sales websites until sold. By incorporating steaming video into their service, Desperate Seller have become one of the first companies to enable potential buyers to view the car via video before contacting the seller and arranging a viewing.
“By introducing streaming video, we are hoping to bring an extra level of confidence to car buyers who look for their new car online” said Russell Berry, Co-Founder of Desperate Seller. “Buyers on average travel up to 50 miles to view and test drive a used car, and by being able to view video footage of the car beforehand, we hope to save buyers time and money as they compile their shortlist.”
