Changes in employment law

One of the most significant changes to employment law in recent years will take place on 1 October 2006 with the introduction of age discrimination. Manches is hosting an employment law update at which companies will be provided with practical and up-to-date information on the very latest changes in employment law including the new rules relating to the transfer of staff on a business transfer and the use of Compromise Agreements for binding departing employees on the termination of their employment.

The update also provides details of the legal implications of health and safety law on remote working. At the seminar companies can learn about the specific issues when dealing with recruitment and dismissal under the new age discrimination regulations and will learn how to prepare your business and make it safe from claims.
