Drawing from the styles of acts like Maroon 5, Lenny Kravitz, Rob Thomas and Prince, his songs blend influences from the East and the West to create a unique connection with today's global audience. Born in Egypt and raised in Canada, Ashraf has grown to become a prominent talent within the independent Canadian music community.

Recently, Ashraf was offered a monthly Saturday night residence at one of Toronto's hottest live music venues. Starting in August 2006, Ashraf will be taking the stage the second Saturday of each month at their new residency at DeGrassi House.
