Richard Gentle was born in 1961 in Gloucestershire, England, UK. From an early age he explored spiritual development through personal experiences, reading material by great teachers, and attending talks and workshops by contemporary practitioners.
From 1985, Richard began to offer healing to close friends and noted their responses. In 1992 he ran evening classes in healing and weekend Crystal Wand-Making Workshops. The Hand of Light website was established in 2003 and immediately attracted international attention. Since 2005, Richard has written books and given talks on healing and crystal wands.
