May 15, 2006 (Press Release) --
RALEIGH, N.C. – CheckUp Marketing, a company offering mystery shopping services to clientele nationwide, will be a unique exhibitor at the annual National Restaurant Association (NRA) Hotel-Motel Show May 20 through May 23 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Visitors to the CheckUp Marketing exhibit, booth number 9433, will discover the benefits of mystery shopping in relation to each facet of the foodservice industry, including cost savings, improved service and increased revenue.
In 2005, a market size report from the Mystery Shopping Providers Association showed that businesses across the U.S. spent nearly $600 million on more than 8.1 million mystery shops. While this number included a variety of businesses from all industries, quick-service restaurants were one of the top spenders.
The report also revealed that companies that participated in the report saw an average revenue growth of 11.1 percent over 2003.
At the NRA Show, the CheckUp Marketing booth will feature an informative presentation, looped on a plasma screen television, to provide business owners with insight into mystery shopping. Sample comments from actual mystery shoppers and case studies from successful shops will give a comprehensive view of a real-life shop.
CheckUp Marketing representatives will be available to meet with business owners and discuss how to create a customized mystery shop based on individual business needs and types.
“We are excited about the opportunity to give the mystery shopping industry exposure at the NRA Show,” CheckUp Marketing Operations Manager Lori Miller said. “By talking one-on-one with so many restaurant industry representatives, we will be able to customize our services to meet their individual needs – whether those needs are improving customer service, enhancing business or growing sales.”
CheckUp Marketing, the mystery shopping department of MarketSmart Advertising, offers comprehensive mystery shopping services to a variety of clientele nationwide, including quick-service and full-service restaurants, real estate and retail. With an extensive database of more than 60,000 mystery shoppers, CheckUp Marketing can provide diverse demographics needed for any type of shop.
