May 16, 2006 (Press Release) --
The Newcomers Club of Greater Seattle, a social club for women, launched a new website welcoming new residents of Washington state yesterday. The organization represents women who have moved or relocated from other areas of the USA and want to learn about Seattle's many attractions and social-recreational activities.
The group meets in different parts of the city and surrounding towns to help newcomers become acquainted with area restaurants, local tourist attractions, and Seattle social activities. It offers monthly luncheons and several sponsored events to help new residents make new friends in the area.
