May 18, 2006 (Press Release) --
The Pixel Pop Art project (www.pixelpopart.com) is attempting to create a mural made of one million photos.
Michael Holt, owner of Art Angel Studio, and team lead of the Pixel Pop Art Project says, " This is a great way to help us promote the idea and to distinguish it from the miriad of million pixel sites."
As people join the project their photo is added to the mural, a mosaic art piece that will be auctioned and the proceeds given to charity, every 500 participants will be added to a random drawing and one lucky person will be awarded and brand new, personalized, 4GB iPod nano.
Holt adds, "A one in five hundred chance to win an iPod, that's better odds than the any lottery I know of."
