The Sword of Justice is a humorous story about an aggressive young lawyer whose determination for revenge against his client, is overcome by his compulsion to win. Caught up in the drama of winning an impossible case, he also finds himself obsessed with ending a torrid affair with his client’s boss. C. Bruce West, surrounded by the trappings of his professional success, is floundering in his private life. He is hired to defend a rapist with an utterly preposterous alibi. Unprepared, unpaid and unable to extricate himself from a protracted trial, Bruce plans to even the score by selecting a jury certain to convict his client, but his compulsion to win overwhelms his desire for revenge. The story is laced with humor and contains a subplot of Bruce’s obsession to end his torrid romance with his client’s boss. Ultimately, justice prevails for everyone, or does it?
