We do not support any form of Tenure extension in Nigeria

WE DO NOT SUPPORT TENURE ELONGATION-
BY NIGER DELTA YOUTH COALITION( NDYC)
We wish to state categorically that some faceless individuals who parade them selves as members of NDYC , in the persons of Messrs Ferdinand Tari Korubo, Vincent Tio, Dr Nsidibe Ekpo - Abasi , who are claiming to represent the Niger delta Youth coalition ( NDYC).have been placing adverts in some Nigerian Dailies on support for tenure extension .
We wish to state categorically that we are are in no way related related to such persons wahtsoever, We are a duly registered organisation whose membership cut across the nine NDDC states of Rivers , Bayelsa, Edo , Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Abia, Imo and Ondo states.
We still maintain our stance against any form of tenure elongation in what ever form and Have consistently called on President Olusegun Obasanjo To Hand Over Power to a democratically elected President come 2007.
Though we commend President Olusegun Obasanjo for his some of his well articulated Economic Policies . We appeal to him to listen to the voice of reason, by handing over power to a new Civillian Govt come 2007, because "The Voice of People , is The Voice of God ".
We also implore our South-south politicians not to be swayed by pecuniary financial considerations so as to sell their conscience, but be Patriotic and defend the south -south cause.They are warned of dire consequences should they come home.We are WAITING FOR THEM ! . ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Finally we commend those our south -south politicians who have patriotically defended our cause in the National Assembly, and also our brother politicians from other ethnic nationalities who have consistently defended our Niger Delta cause in one way or the other.We thank all Nigerians for their consistent support in enshrining true democracy in Nigeria.
