May 2006 - Campbell, CA – International Reggae star Stevie Culture is to be featured at The Northwest World Reggae festival being held July 21-23, 2006 in Portland, Oregon. The prestigious three-day festival features some of the most talented names in Reggae including Anthony B, Mikey General, Barrington Levy, Junior Reid and Stevie Culture. It is the hottest Reggae festival ever to hit the Northwest. You can find the festival on the web at http://www.nwworldreggae.com/.
The concert is being held in commemoration of Hailie Selassie and Earth day. The Northwest World Reggae Festival is being presented by Global Conventions LLC.
Stevie Culture is a great addition to the lineup this summer and it will be a prime venue to showcase his new songs from the upcoming release, “Blessen”. He is placing the finishing touches on the album and it is scheduled for release later this summer on King Step Recordings.
