Protest Against Discovery Channel Decision Not To Air X-Ops

May 28, 2006 (Press Release) -- The airing of X-Ops after much praise by the CEOs of Discovery was suppose to take place first of the year. After a long delay and no communications with the staff of X-Ops the CEO at Discovery in charge of producing this show has vanished off the face of the earth. Even trying to contact her at her home or through known associates has been to no avail. A new team of CEOs came into Discovery and demanded that the X-Ops team ridicule and deminish the people making these claims at Roswell and each other if the show was to air. They demanded the show be re-edited and watered down to change the appearance of the results and deminish the claims of the group. They demanded also that at least one member of the X-Ops team ridicule the rest of the group. They team said NO and stood by the results they had captured and documented with high resolution video cameras and scientific instruments while the events were happening as is supported by the Discovery crew who was there. They were told by the new Discovery Channel CEOs since they did not comply the show at best could hope for was to be a watered down series and turned into a vacation promotion show on Travel Channel.

The X-Ops Team consists of the most respected names in the Paranormal Community including, Ruben Uriarte, Richard Alaniz, Karyn Reece, Joshua P. Warren, Brian Irish, Laura Lee, Jim Marrs, Heidi Hollis, and Nick Redfern fashioned by the creator of the series X-Files to be the real life reality of the idea.


After spending 5 months in good faith and excitement promoting the show the team has never been told anything concrete by Discovery Channel until the issues of late with the CEOs now in charge - Discovery Channel has now started telling the genral public the show will not air as does not meet their quality standards.

Since this was PRODUCED by Discovery Channel from concept up and was supervised in person, on the set, by Discovery producers this answer is complete and total deception. This production was made with the highest level of quality on the market. Discover Channel is not being honest about this! What is the agenda here surpressing a show with so much interest and momentium? Is time we protest and fight back as anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together can see this was to be a hit series and this is censorship since this team did not agree to ridicule the paranormal and choose to stand firm in their resolve to tell us the truth in their investigations no matter where it takes them and document their findings. Finally this was a show that could have Discovered something and is being surpressed by Discovery Channel.
