FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 1, 2006 --
The My Blood Pressure newsletter has been released for June. It contains the latest blood pressure news, including new guidelines released by the American Heart Association in May, as part of High Blood Pressure education month.
The newsletter also contains an interview with Alison E. from Texas, U.S.A. Alison’s husband and two children have all battled a rare tumor called Pheochromocytoma (Pheos) which can elevate blood pressure levels and heart rate. Pheos are tumors of the adrenal gland which produce excess adrenaline. Adrenal glands produce adrenaline which helps to maintain blood pressure and to cope with stress. Pheos cause an overproduction of adrenaline which can severely elevate blood pressure.
She has shared her story and knowledge in an interview in the hope that it may help to increase awareness of pheos and maybe save a life.
