Andrea Rains Waggener, author of Dog Parenting—How to Have an Outrageously Happy, Well-adjusted Canine, is the devoted dog mom of an English springer spaniel named Muggins. “The better dog mom I am, the nicer person I am,” says Waggener. “Muggins would tell you so if she could talk.”
