The Mercedes-Benz European Delivery Program, developed in 1964, offers one
of the best discounts. It sells fewer vehicles through the program than
Volvo and BMW, but the chance to get a 7 percent discount off the MSRP of
a Mercedes, especially when it comes to the higher-end models, is quite a
deal.
After picking up your vehicle in Sindelfingen, Germany, you can drive on
the Autobahn or more enticingly, upgrade to the Black Forest-Alps Rally
package, a five-night tour that combines scenic driving opportunities with
luxurious hotel stays throughout Germany.
Program Details
Car Discount: Up to 7 percent off the MSRP
Tour Options and Pricing: The Standard package includes one night's
accommodations at one of 12 participating first-class hotels, European
road insurance, two taxi vouchers for Stuttgart from the airport to the
hotel and then again to the European Delivery Center, factory tour, lunch,
inland transportation and transportation for your vehicle back to the U.S.
Cost: Free.
The Black Forest-Alps Rally package combines the standard package with
four additional nights lodging, while days are spent driving through the
Black Forest and the Austrian Alps. Cost: $1,300 per couple.
Eligibility: 18+
