Many who make up the Body of God’s Harbor Community Church have they themselves been the victums of Spiritual abuse. They have literally been "tried by Fire" in today’s Churches
for being Gay, Lesboan, Bisexual, and Transgendered believers. Some of which have even held Credentials as Ministers only to have them revoked for coming to God as they are.
God’s Harbor Community Church realizes the need for healing before the Church as a whole can move on to”bigger and better things.” They strive daily to make right what is wrong whith today’s Christian Community. They do this by showing simple kindness to their fellow person by following the example of Jesus Christ.
Throughout this beautiful country of ours there are untold thousands of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Christians hiding in silence for fear of their lives. And for fear of losing friends, family, and positions in the church that they love. Many Churches do not know that they are "abusers" Just as those same churches did not know it was wrong to persecute African Americans in the past, God’s Harbor Community Church is bringing awareness NOT through political band-standing but rather through the Love of Jesus shown in their everyday lives. "how can we Hope For Change in the Christian Community if all they see is political retoric?" (W.H.) God’s Harbor Community Church is committed to truly sharing the Gospel with everyone.
