Fresh news and entertainment video segments from Naughty Pig, Pranx, Retro, Our World, Taste of Beckles and Zed to be added regularly to HandHeld Entertainment’s download store at ZVUE.com

SAN FRANCISCO and OTTAWA, Ont.-HandHeld Entertainmentä (OTC BB: HNDH), the company behind the ZVUE™ family of mass-market portable media players and the ZVUE.com download store, today announced it will begin offering its customers 3,500 additional downloadable video segments from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC/Radio-Canada).
Under terms of the agreement with CBC/Radio-Canada, HandHeld Entertainment will begin adding news and entertainment video segments regularly to its digital download website from some of the most popular and successful television shows and online video selections on CBC, including Naughty Pig, Pranx, Our World, Retro, Taste of Beckles and Zed.
These CBC video segments will be available for purchase from ZTV, HandHeld Entertainment’s digital download website at www.zvue.com. Consumers will be able to view these selections on any personal computer using Microsoft’s Windows Media Video or on HandHeld Entertainment’s ZVUE™ portable media player.
“You don’t have to be a Canadian to want some of the fun and entertaining video selections we’re adding at ZVUE.com from CBC,” said Jeff Oscodar, president and chief executive officer of HandHeld Entertainment. “But it will help if you’ve got an edgier sense of humor. On the news front, I suspect our thoughtful customers will particularly appreciate the CBC news and information pieces and documentaries they’ll soon be able to find at ZTV.”
As a result of its agreement with CBC, HandHeld Entertainment will be adding close to 300 new video selections to ZVUE.com every month. These will include the top eight news stories daily, two weekly news reports from CBC’s Our World (along with a weekly movie review, and four fashion segments each week). In addition, HandHeld Entertainment’s ZTV will also add 13 total comedic selections each month drawn from Naughty Pig, Pranx, Taste of Beckles and Zed, in addition to five Retro pieces each month as well.

The addition of nearly 3,500 CBC video selections annually to HandHeld Entertainment’s quickly expanding ZTV (www.zvue.com/downloads) digital download store comes on the heels of several other recent content partnerships for HandHeld Entertainment. The result of such agreements include the addition of FC Barcelona's 2-1 2006 European Cup Win over Arsenal and world-famous fashion shows from IMG, anime movies from ADV Films, legendary punk rock videos from Music Video Distributors, Latin music videos from Sunflower Entertainment, 1,500 full-length films and television shows from Worldvision Cinema, comedic movies from Fun Little Movies, extreme sports videos from TotalVid, independent films from StoryPIPE.com, classic TV programs and cartoons from LikeTelevision, as well as a music partnership with eMusic.
