Kanoo wins Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Awards

His Highness, General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, presented the SKEA awards to Mohamed Kanoo and Tim Casey of The Kanoo Group in a glittering awards ceremony held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award is based upon the International Business Excellence model and covers nearly all aspects of business management. Applicants to the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award could come from all sectors of the economy. Kanoo Travel, which was the first travel company to win the SKEA Appreciation, won the coveted award this year under the Tourism category. The Kanoo Group (Oil & Gas division) won the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award - Quality Appreciation certificate under the Trade category. Kanoo Travel and The Kanoo Group (Oil & Gas division) were measured by their management practices and ability to achieve and sustain outstanding results for all their stakeholders, such as customers, employees, shareholders and the community.
