The Logic Group manages information and transactions securely for large and medium sized businesses across its European home market. It is a rapidly growing company who played a key role in the UK's migration to Chip & PIN, for which it earned a 2005 Queen's Award for Innovation.
The Logic Group decided to improve their employee benefit offering as an integral part of their people strategy, branded Team Logic'. The company is committed to the Investors in People standard and as part of this drive wanted to give employees improved access to information, help and a better understanding of their employee benefits with the ultimate aim of giving them more choice over their package.
The Logic Group selected thomsons online benefits to advise on their benefits and to implement their self-service solution Perquisite. They are following a stepped approach to enhancing their benefits offering, the first step of which was the launch of online total reward statements and discounted benefits including spa breaks, gym membership, holidays, dental insurance, health assessments and medical cash plans. Later in 2006 they plan to add tax efficient options such as childcare vouchers and bicycles with a view to moving towards full flexible benefits in the future.
Sara Williams, HR Director at the Logic Group comments: Improving the communication and understanding of our employee benefits package is a key part of the HR deal under our Team Logic strategy. We really wanted employees to realise the true value of what they are being provided with.
This is proving to be a successful strategy with over 80 per cent of employees already having logged in to view their total reward statement in only two weeks. However this is just the first step in this project, and we look forward to adding new features, benefits and offers in the future.
