June 14, 2006 (Press Release) --
WESTLAND, Michigan — The Fundamentals of GD&T DVD Series is a convenient, comprehensive video training program that teaches geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. ETI has now made the training accessible anywhere that you can play DVDs: on a portable DVD player, using a DVD player and TV, or using the DVD-ROM drive on a PC or laptop.
The video training series is taught by ETI president, Alex Krulikowski, an internationally known GD&T expert. Alex has a degree in industrial vocational education, over 30 years of industry experience, and was a manager of dimensional engineering at GM. He explains GD&T basics in a clearly understood fashion, using a series of goals and objectives, with the help of 3-D part models to help demonstrate concepts.
“The video training series has always been a convenient GD&T training option. By reformatting the VHS series to DVDs, we have made the training even more user-friendly. It is also now available in three convenient options, so users can purchase exactly the amount of training they need. We still offer the traditional full course in an 8-DVD set, and we have added a GD&T fundamentals overview course option in a 4-DVD set. For those who want to learn or review a particular topic, we also offer learning modules that can be purchased on individual DVDs. Learning to use GD&T correctly on drawings is more important than ever in this global economy, and ETI will continue to provide as many GD&T training options as possible.”
The Fundamentals of GD&T DVD set is cross-referenced with ETI's Video Workbook. The video workbook contains diagrams, tips, charts, and key points from the videos. It also provides 30 student exercises with over 300 questions on the fundamentals of geometric tolerancing. The workbook enhances student skills by providing practice on each concept from the video course, and it serves as an excellent on-the-job reference tool when the course is finished.

From now through June 30, 2006, the complete video series on DVD is being offered for 30% off the introductory price, with a free video workbook, and no charge for shipping and handling within the continental U.S. (A savings of over $750.)
