Chicago and Suburban Salsa Dancers, joins with other local Meetup groups, including the Got Cabin Fever?, the Buffalo Grove Dance Group and Southern Fox Valley Friends over 30, to share in friendship

On Tantalizing Thursdays, the Chicago and Suburban Salsa Dancers Meetup Group, which is dedicated to living and learning Salsa together as we grow in friendship and dance, joins with other local Meetup groups, including the Got Cabin Fever? Meetup Group of North Aurora, the Buffalo Grove Dance Meetup Group and Southern Fox Valley Friends over 30 Meetup Group, to share in friendship and dance at the newly remodeled and recently reopened La Sierra de Aurora located at 2121 East New York Street, Aurora, formerly Club Boleros, and now a banquet facility.
Meetup Groups exist for the purpose of bringing together people with a common interest to enjoy and share that interest together.
This mega Meetup will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2006, beginning at 7:30 PM with a welcome to all and introductions to begin meeting new friends.. At 8:00 PM a FREE beginner Salsa dance lesson will be conducted by our own local, and widely renowned, Latin dance instructor and dance promoter, Jed Walker and his partner, Narce. The new and recently installed wood dance floor will be open to dancing to the rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Cha with the music provided be DJ Edgar.
This event is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to come to this event, join in the dance lesson, dance through the night and become acquainted with many new friends. All of the group organizers will be on hand to introduce you to new friends and answer questions about their groups. There is a $5.00 cover charge to enter this event. Everyone should wear either leather or hard soled shoes and should be dressed for an evening out.
