June 16, 2006 (Press Release) --
Kessie will direct “Cat and Mouse” for Jellybean Pictures and Penzoe Productions and is slated for principal photography in mid June 2006 in Atlanta GA.
Corrin’s play follows Carol, a brunette, 20ish female, has become quite adept at picking up her share of rich - and sometimes married - men. While executing her next hit, the cat burglar secures her treasure of a rare “Faberge” egg from the unsuspecting victims, and unexpectedly becomes the witness to a murder.
Kessie’s first critically acclaimed short film, ”Sale’s Day” won the first place VidFest award in 2005 and her directed piece, “Life 101: Angel’s secret” an after school special has been airing on a local Comcast TV channel in Atlanta.
The future of this short is to expand into a full-length feature film.
