The evening of the 13th is spent dancing in the Bastille Square before the build up to the big day itself. On the 14th, crowds line the Champs Elysées to watch the huge military parade accompanied overhead by jets in formation. The partying continues all day and later in the evening thousands of people come together at the Champ de Mars to watch the spectacular fireworks at the Trocadéro.
Accommodation is at the 4* Residence Appartement Le Regent situated in the Saint Germain des Pres district, once the home of artists and writers. The building houses luxury apartments which are stylishly decorated with designer furniture, complete with fully fitted high spec kitchens.
The price of £394pp is based on two sharing a standard twin or double studio and includes return Eurostar travel from London Waterloo or Ashford International.
