June 28, 2006 (Press Release) --
GoBusi, LLC is an online company selling and providing decoration products and services. Founder of GoBusi, LLC, Aeileen Cheung, is also an inventor of patent-pending functional telephone modifications with novelty designs, such as “Sleeping Bear on a Bed”, “An Iron”, “Cow on a Meadow” and “A 2-Story House”.
The ideas of the patent-pending invention came from the need of writing implements proximate to the telephone in order to jot down messages relating to telephone calls. However, Aeileen not only wanted her invention to be practical but also aesthetic. It is just like an interior designer who not only wants a room to be functional but also beautiful.
Aeileen strikes the balance between “function” and “beauty” with novelty-designed telephones in vivid colors & shapes. They incorporate compartments as well as holders for storing & holding office & writing implements, and embody utility facilities for performing simple tasks. The incorporation of compartments is unique in a way that it is built-in and well-covered while that of holders is either position-adjustable or having rotatory, elastic fasteners so that whatever position the telephone set is placed, the contents will stay. Moreover, the built-in, covered compartments contain subdivisions to organize and secure different types of stationery. The utility facilities are mostly embedded in a way unifying with the designs. For example, when the telephone set is designed in the shape of an animal, a stapler will usually be embedded in its mouth part so that it will appear as in the biting actions when it is in use.
In fact, the inspiration of one of the vivid designs, Sleeping Bear on a Bed, came from a sleeping picture of her daughter taken when she was 3 months old. Aeileen also wrote a poem titled “Ice-cream for Display Only” for the picture, which was later selected to be published by the International Library of Poetry in the anthology titled, “The Best Poems and Poets of 2003”.
“Whenever I look at the design of the ‘Sleeping Bear on a Bed’, I’d think of the picture of my daughter as well as the poem.” Aeileen said. “The feeling is just so sweet and warm.”
Now Aeileen is looking for a company which is interested in her patent-pending invention so that she can transfer her rights to and it can start making models of her designs in telephone sets. She hopes she can also be a partner of the company who will continuously use her design talents in telephone sets.
