Chicago and Suburban Salsa Dancers Group, dedicated to living and learning Salsa together as they grow in friendship and dance, will meet at Aquarius Club 2459 N Pulaski Chicago at 7:30PM.

The worldwide United Salsa Meetup Day is Monday, July 10th and the Chicago and Suburban Salsa Dancers Meetup Group, which is dedicated to living and learning Salsa together as they grow in friendship and dance, joins with other local Meetup groups, including the Chicago Young + New in Town (or Not) Meetup (20-35) to celebrate living, life and friendship though dance.
This event is open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to come to this event, join in the dance lesson, dance through the night and become acquainted with many new friends.
Aquarius Club and Restaurant, will host this mega Meetup at 2459 N. Pulaski Ave in Chicago, Illinois beginning at 7:30 PM with a welcome to all and introductions to begin meeting new friends. At 8:00 PM, a FREE beginner Salsa dance lesson will be conducted by the widely renowned Latin dance instructor and dance promoter, Jed Walker, and his partner, Narce, followed by a free intermediate level dance lesson at 9:00 PM. The spacious wood dance floor will be open to dancing to the rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Cha with the music provided be DJ Edgar Marroquin, of Latin Beat Chicago, at 10:00 PM.
Meetup Groups exist for the purpose of bringing together people with a common interest to enjoy and share that interest together. All of the group organizers will be on hand to introduce you to new friends and answer questions about their groups. Generally, there are no fees to join a group but there may be fees for particular activities. There is no charge to enter this event. Everyone should wear either leather or hard soled shoes.
