No worry everybody. He will not play a new Superman, in another Hollywood production. But Davis - frontman of the rock band KoRn - is recovering "super-fast" after the blood disease episode, he had earlier last month.
Davis was hospitalized earlier in June in London, because of a blood disorder. This sent his platelet count plummeting to dangerously low levels. In this case, KoRn was forced to cancel its European tour while Davis was under severe treatment for the rare disease, called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). The blood infection could have been fatal for him let untreated.
Tuesday, June 27th, Jonathan Davis posted a message in the "Journal" section of the band's official website saying: "What's up everybody? I'm feeling great, all the emails, blogs and letters really mean a lot and have helped me recover in record time. By the way, thanks to all of you who sent in your suggestions for the Family Values Festival area, there are some cool ideas in there. Peace, JD".
In other news, KoRn it's getting ready for his Family Values Tour. Also Davis starred into a movie and the official online store is open. Te movie is called "Sin-Jin Smyth" and is a supernatural thriller in which Jonathan Davis plays the main character. The movie does not have yet have a release date. It also features former wrestler Roddy Piper and porn star Jenna Jameson.
