A new internet service is now available at many tennis clubs nationwide. Tennis players looking for matches, pros, classes, programs and events can now log on for local and nationwide information.

Tennis players can now reach out and touch someone. The other side of town, state or the U.S. That someone being a doubles partner, evening match, tennis pro or even join a tennis class. All through the internet.
U.S.P.T.A. Pro and owner of the http://sunshinetennismall.com Lee Basey said "Players can now connect with other tennis players using a national data base. The service is free and available 24/7. You can always get a match at your level as the system uses the USTA ranking system. So if you are looking for a match at home or even if your traveling. You can log on and set a match up, where ever your destination might be. You could even set a match up in New York in the morning, fly to California for business and play again that evening. You could also sign up for tennis classes while out of town for a convention. The possibilities are endless. The software also allows clubs to advertise their programs on a monthly calendar, schedule courts and send email to its members.

Tennis players interested in signing up can go to http://sunshinetennismall.com. Press on the Member Portal tab. Fill out the player profile information. Then run a scan looking for the players who meet your criteria. All levels and sexes are available. The system uses the USTA ranking system of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and so on. You ca run a scan for any distance from your address. Sat a 100 mile radius. The program will pull up every player of your level. You can then hit the map option and directions will show you how to reach that person address or courts. The internet is here to stay and finally its working for tennis players.
