Britney Spears' revealing new Harper's Bazaar cover was scheduled before the singer announced her pregnancy, as the pop star was desperate to pose nude while she was pregnant with her first child, Sean Preston.
The newly brunette Britney Spears has bared all for the provocative new August cover shot of Harper's Bazaar, proudly showing off the round belly and nearly black locks.
Britney Spears' representative explains, "This was an idea she had when she was pregnant with Sean, but we never really got to it."
"Unfortunately, with Britney's first pregnancy, it was a little bit difficult for her to even walk around because everyone was so on top of 'Britney Spears is pregnant!'
"There was just too much hype."
Britney Spears' claims that expecting mom is thrilled with the results.
"The photos are beautiful. The photos are art. They're classic, iconic portraits of a very happy woman," the rep added, San Francisco Gate reports.
