SALT LAKE CITY - July 11, 2006 - The Wayne Brown Institute (WBI) today announced that its next free "How to Raise Money in Utah" seminar will be held Wednesday July 19, 2006 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Miller Business Innovation Center at Salt Lake Community College.
Entrepreneurship and venture capital experts Ed Ekstrom (vSpring Capital), Tim Hunt (LingoTek) and Randy Johnson (Kirton & McConkie) will give presentations on the basics of fundraising and how and when service professionals add value. Hunt will provide the additional perspective of an entrepreneur who has recently been successful at raising money. An "anything goes" question and answer session will follow the three speakers' remarks.
