The Lupus Alliance is once again holding their annual Walk Along for Lupus in October, during Lupus Awareness Month, and is seeking sponsors.

This year marks the 13th Anniversary of the Lupus Alliance’s Walk Along for Lupus, the most successful lupus walk in the country that not only raises money for lupus research but supports the individual with lupus as well.
To celebrate this special event the Lupus Alliance is looking for new sponsors for the Annual Walk Along for Lupus, which will be held on October 15th, 2006 in Eisenhower Park. Sponsor levels range from $500-$5,000.
Most businesses are welcome, and many perks come with the different levels of sponsorship. Including; name and logo on the walk shirts, logo on the Alliance website, display table at the walk site, name and logo imprinted on the over 45,000 brochures and walk envelopes that are distributed, name and information listed in all walk press releases and more. Over 2,000 people attend the walk each year, and over 8,000 receive walk envelopes, information or give a
donation. A Walk Along sponsorship will get your business noticed for supporting a good cause!
The Lupus Alliance of LI/Q has helped thousands of local residents who have lupus as well as
their families. Their programs include; Education symposiums, support groups, LupusLine, up-to-date research information, resource library, kids program, Hispanic outreach program, financial assistance programs, online resources and more.
