InternationalCircuit.com Founder Returns From Living With The Gorillas

July 14, 2006 (Press Release) -- Mr. Gurreri had set out on an expedition on June 15th to explore and document new tourist destinations to be covered in the online travel guide. Mr. Gurreri was feared lost after he did not arrive on his scheduled return flight from Kigali on July 2nd. Family members attempted unsuccessfully to contact the local tour operator office to obtain information about Mr. Gurreri’s whereabouts.

Mr. Gurreri was expedited to Kigali International Airport after being returned to the Gorilla Nest Lodge by militants who had discovered him in a weakened condition on Mount Karisimbi, part of the East African Rift Valley.

According to Mr. Gurreri’s brother, he was abandoned by his guide and was unable to navigate his way out of the dense African jungle. Mr. Gurreri traveled with a group of the endangered Mountain Gorillas and survived on roots, vines, and insects, which he learned from observing the animals. "I am very thankful to be back home with my family and friends", said Mr. Gurreri.

Mr. Gurreri is expected to resume his role as head of InternationalCircuit.com’s operations. It has not yet been decided if the Virunga Mountains will be added to the company’s list of destination guides.
